Staff at the Halo Centre in Ross-on-Wye had a fantastic night at the recent staff awards celebration event. They were nominated in seven of the eight categories and three members collected individual trophies. However, the highlight of the night was when Ross won the coveted Leisure Centre of the Year Award.
“Ross has long been recognised as outstanding,” said Sian Thomas, Manager at Halo Ross. Halo Leisure, the social enterprise and registered charity which runs the leisure facilities in Herefordshire as well as Shropshire, Bridgend County and Wiltshire - held its annual staff awards celebration on Saturday, November 25th. Staff from across Halo’s 22 sites came together to recognise the contribution and success of their colleagues.
The winner of Halo Leisure’s Outstanding Achievement 2017 is Dana Machackova, who is a popular member of the fitness team at the Halo centre in Ross-on-Wye. Dana combines her love of sport both professionally and personally.
Ian Scrivens is the winner of Halo Leisure’s Customer Choice Award 2017 and is a big favourite with staff and customers at Halo Ross-on-Wye.
