Members of Ross Beavers and Cubs have now got their very own litter picking equipment thanks to the Ross Community Litter Clean Up Crew (RCLCUC). The youngsters, and their leaders are all concerned about the environment and will now be able to go out whenever they have the opportunity to do a short litter pick of the area.

Members of Ross Community Litter Clean Up Crew who attended the handover said that they were delighted to see how concerned the youngsters are about this issue and how much they care about the area.

They said: “Well done, you are a credit to your families and the town.”

Attending the event were Jill Scamell, Wendy Salter and Anne Taylor, from RCLCUC and the new County Councillor, Chris Bartrum.
