As reported in the Gazette (September 24th), Boots were recently in town to film their new Christmas advert, and it is being shown on television now, so watch out for it during the breaks.

As well as filming the local landmarks, Boots also edited in giant fashion accessories in the place of shops. They also filmed in the Boots store on Broad Street.

Other locations that appear in the advert are Launceston and Megavissey, Cornwall.

On Facebook Joanna Lewis commented: "It's nice to see a pretty town on a national advert well done Boots for choosing Ross."

Diana Lerego said: "If you freeze frame you will see in the other Boots window they have changed into a bistro!!..Ross is getting popular these days Top Gear and now Boots, wonder what's next?".
