The first group litter pick of the year organised by Ross Community Litter Clean Up Crew attracted 19 enthusiastic volunteers including a lively contingent from John Kyrle High School.

Starting from the Fernbank Road Country Trail Car Park, the group spread out over surrounding areas and after just 1 hour returned to the Walford Road Collection Point.

They returned with 12 full purple sacks of litter bringing the total collected for the first week of January up to an impressive 17 sacks.
