THE Ross Choristers' Medley Christmas Concert at St Mary's Church on Saturday, December 21 will mark the choir's first major engagement under new leadership.

This vibrant community group has been entertaining local audiences for some 18 years under the baton of one of the founding members, Josie O' Driscoll, who rejoins the soprano ranks.

Over the years the choir has raised over £20,000 for local causes and national charities.

Laurie Pengrum has now taken leadership role and has helped the choir prepared and will present a very varied programme for the forthcoming concert that includs festive choral pieces, solos, duets, quartets, novelty items and a singalong.

The concert starts at 7pm with an entry charge of £10. All proceeds will be donated to The Friends of Ross Hospital.
