There were some beautiful works of art on display at Ross-on-Wye Baptist Church, who for the past week have been hosting their annual art exhibition.
The exhibition, which was free of charge, began on Tuesday, September 11th and finished on the weekend. Visitors could expect a warm welcome, a hot drink, and biscuits, as well as the opportunity to browse masterpieces produced by some local artists.
Much of the artwork on display was painted, drawn or sketched by members of the art clubs, which the Baptist Church host.
On Monday mornings, Art Base is held. This is an art class, led by local artist, Mary Deaville.
Some of the artists were at the exhibition to talk to the locals and visitors that attended. One artist told the Ross Gazette how important creativity and art is in her life, and how rewarding painting can be.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now
