The Ross Cancer Support Group has announced a change of venue for their upcoming meetings, now taking place at St Mary's Church Hall. The next gathering is scheduled for Tuesday, 7th November, beginning at 6 pm. Free parking is available for attendees at the nearby Crossfields Car Park, adjacent to the tennis courts.
The group invites anyone impacted by cancer to join the meeting, which lasts until 7:30 pm. Whether you're navigating your own cancer journey or providing support to someone who has been diagnosed, the meeting offers a valuable opportunity to connect with others over a cup of tea.
The evening will feature shared experiences and information from reliable sources like Macmillan. "Come along anytime from 6 pm to 7:30 if you would like to chat with others over a cuppa about your cancer journey or if you are providing support to someone who has been diagnosed," the group encourages.
In addition to these regular meetings, the Ross Penyard Singers are also doing their part to support the group. They are diligently preparing for a concert on 9th December, with proceeds going to benefit the Ross Cancer Support Group. This fundraising effort will significantly aid the group's activities and outreach.
