Local resident Joyce Thomas is highlighting the work which she believes needs to be tackled by the Town Council - a wall by Smallbrook Gardens and a dilapidated bench. She has also been concerned for some time about a wall on Gloucester Road.
Mrs Thomas told the Ross Gazette that she wants the Town Council to try to locate any members of the family of the gentleman the bench was in memory of. It is dedicated to Tom Williams 1969. She said if the bench cannot be repaired then I will organise fundraising for a replacement.
Mrs Thomas was delighted to learn that Cllr Paul Symonds has organised finance for materials and a stone mason to deal with the Gloucester Road wall and work should be starting soon.See the full story in this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our online edition here
