The Ross-on-Wye Branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL) have lost an important piece of equipment that they are hope to retrieve by raising awareness about the fact that it is missing. On the morning of Sunday, November 11th, members of the RBL were preparing and setting up at The Prospect ready for Ross-on-Wye’s Remembrance Service.
A socket set was last seen on the wall by The Prospect. A member if the RBL told the Ross Gazette: “We were all so busy trying to set up as quickly as possible and making sure everything was right. We were arranging poppies and concentrating on the day.”
The socket set is described as being black with a plastic case. It contains things like sockets and wrenches.
If anybody has seen the piece of equipment, or believes they know of anything that may help to determine its whereabouts, please ring Graham Aplin on 07788272500. Alternatively, you can contact the Ross Gazette.
