This weekend’s Christmas Markets at Taurus Crafts sees a spectacular selection of entertainment throughout the creative craft centre.
Over 35 different market traders will be providing festive arts, crafts, gifts, toys, food and drink while the crowds will be entertained by Ukuleles, Aylburton school choir, Rock Choir, clowns, magician, flautists, puppeteer, buskers and circus skills.
“It’s a great entertainment programme this weekend ahead, with the market drawing to a close on Sunday we know the visitors will be kept entertained throughout. The Rock Choir alone have over 60 members, so it makes quite an impact when they all sing, and really creates a festive atmosphere,” said Tom Haverly, Events Manager
The Christmas trees from Lydney Park estate are really good quality and selling fast and we are so pleased to see lots of local faces coming back year after to year, and we are still meeting their expectations. Also, the visitors are really enjoying this year’s heated marquee,” said Wendy Firkin, Centre Manager
On Sunday the choir area hands over the reins to ‘Lightly Twned’ duo Alastair and Janice who will be running the open mic busking area providing a great opportunity for musicians and singers to get involved.
Entry to the the markets is free and there is free parking. Taurus Crafts is open from 10am to 5.30pm.
