Shoppers in Ross-on-Wye may soon be able to have a shave while visiting Morrisons.

Morrisons has applied to Herefordshire Council for permission to install a new barber shop unit at the Station Street store.

Architects working on the scheme say the pod will have a mono-pitched roof and its external walls will be made of timber cladding.

A new aluminium door set with fixed side screens and automatic sliding door will be installed on the unit which will take up some of car park spaces near the supermarket entrance.

Residents have until August 22nd to comment on the plans and Herefordshire Council planners are expected to determine the proposals by September 10th.
