Having lived in Ross for more than 40 years Caz Holbrook feels she is more than qualified to capture portraits of some of the many characters in her home town.
Caz moved to Ross when she was just a year old, so all her memories are of people who have helped make the town the special place it is.
Caz has started an immensely personal new photographic project taking pictures of the people who mean something special about Ross to her.
Called ‘I am Ross’ Caz has already booked a display space at Ross Library where she intends to create an exhibition of all the striking portraits.
She hopes to take about 50 portraits altogether. Although she is open to suggestions from other people, she is determined that she will select the characters and personalities to capture on film, who have made a difference to her, and her view of her home town.
Caz is also thinking about creating a book featuring the pictures as well as some interesting facts about her subjects, which she has gleaned from talking to them.
