Five years after their first appearance on the concert scene, Octavo returns to St Catherine’s, the Grade 1 listed church at Hoarwithy, with Heaven and Earth. This is a wide-ranging programme of songs arranged for eight unaccompanied voices.

In the programme there are numbers from composers ranging in date from early Renaissance to 20th century, Thomas Tallis to John Rutter and, in mood, from lamentations to joyous.

The concert will take place on Saturday, September 22nd, and the audience will be refreshed with wine and nibbles, all for the price of a ticket for £10 (under age 19 free) obtainable from Rossiter Books, High Street, Ross-on-Wye, and The New Harp Inn, Hoarwithy. Enquiries 01432 840254.
