ROSS-on-Wye residents and businesses can now make use of Herefordshire Council’s newly improved pre-application planning advice service.
The service provides advice and guidance for those looking to apply for planning permission while the new web page and digital application form will offer automatic quotes tailored to the applicant, meaning an improved and less complicated service for the user.
This upgrade is part of the ongoing transformation of the authority’s planning and building control service, enabling it to deliver the best possible service for the public.
Councillor Elissa Swinglehurst, cabinet member environment, said: “This new and improved system will help to balance out service costs and delivering improved value for taxpayers.
“The system will provide a customised process in applying for planning permission making it simpler than ever.”
The service can be accessed via Herefordshire Council’s website.
