Forest of Dean Cats Protection has gained two new fosterers. They are Lesley and John Sterry, already the proud owners of four beautiful pedigree Persian cats. Lesley is also the new manager of the Camp Mill cafe at Dean Heritage Centre, which has become a hub for Cats Protection merchandise,
Lesley and John have recently acquired a CP double pen with room either for two single cats or two sets of mother and kittens. Two more pens are on their way. The couple have always loved cats and wanted to give something back to cats not so fortunate as theirs, for the pleasure they have had from their own animals. The guest cats might be strays or much loved pets belonging to owners who can no longer care for them and have been handed over to Cats Protection. They are looking forward to rehoming many cats in their future years.
Forest of Dean Cats Protection would like to have more volunteers. If anyone is interested, please contact the helpline on 01594 841511, for a chat. New volunteers will always be supported by the committee of friendly fosterers and rehomers and pens are provided by Cats Protection.
