DEAN Hill Play Park has been refurbished with new play equipment thanks to grant funding, donations and investment by Ross-on-Wye Town Council.

The new equipment includes a climbing frame, scramble net, balance beam, climbing wall and bucket swing.

The facility, operated by Ross-on-Wye Town Council, is now open to use, thanks to grants from additional funders, including the Herefordshire Community Foundation, as well as funds from the town council.

Two picnic benches have been donated by Walford Timber. The council hopes to refurbish the younger children’s section in the near future.

Deputy town clerk, Charlotte Reynolds, said: “This project has been a year in the making, and I am absolutely delighted with the results.”

The project has been financially supported by Herefordshire Community Foundation, and Playtime By Fawns were the equipment provider and installer.
