Ross-on-Wye resident Natalie Morgan-Dew has been crowned world champion for her performance of a modern burlesque routine.

Natalie won the title at the eigth annual world burlesque games held last week in Leytonstone - beating competitors from Italy, Sweden, France and the UK.

Natalie won the alternative crown for her neo-burlesque routine.

Each category had a first, second and third place, with the performers invited back for the winners’ encore show.

“The standard was really high and each routine was unique. I’m still on cloud nine that I won,” said Natalie, who has an aerial and alternative dance and fitness studio in Ross called Mizz Twisted Cherry.See the full story in this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our online edition here
