AN inquest will be held into the death of Theresa Harvey whose body was found in the river at the Rope Walk in Ross-on-Wye on April 4.

An investigation has also been opened by the Herefordshire coroner into the death of Laura Harvey, Theresa’s 44-year-old daughter, after her body was discovered two days earlier at their home in Orchid Close on April 2.

When the daughter was found deceased West Mercia police launched a missing person appeal for Theresa Harvey, 68, saying they were concerned about her welfare. But two days later, she was found dead in the River Wye.

Following a large-scale operation by the emergency services, that included an air ambulance, paramedics, the fire and rescue service and the police, a crime scene investigation was launched.
