A 93-YEAR-OLD Aylburton man, who travels to Walford to attend ballroom/sequence dance classes, has been presented with The Forester’s 'Good Neighbours' award.
Matty Harding was unfortunately attend the newspaper’s recent presentation ceremony in Cinderford.
Matty was nominated because he always helps out people in his village when and where he can and often provides lifts for his friends and neighbours for medical appointments and social occasions.
Matty ensures that one woman with mobility issues is alright on a daily basis and undertakes any jobs around the home that need attention.
Matty has been attending Wendy's ballroom/sequence dance classes three times a week for many years where he was presented with the award last week. He has a varied and unique dance repertoire. His speciality dance being the October Waltz.
