MARIE Curie is seeking volunteers in Herefordshire to support its Great Daffodil Appeal this March by distributing daffodil pins in exchange for donations.

The charity’s flagship fundraiser helps provide expert end-of-life care for people across the UK.

Collections will take place at local venues, including Morrisons stores, from Monday, February 24 to Sunday, March 9.

Funds raised will support Marie Curie Nurses, hospices, and its free support services, which offer practical and emotional help to those with terminal illnesses and their families.

Peter Sara, Marie Curie's senior community fundraiser for Herefordshire, said: “Volunteering is so rewarding. By giving up a few hours of your time, you’ll be helping bring vital hospice care to more people in our community.”
