A 52-YEAR-OLD man has been sent to crown court for sentence over an incident where he threatened another man with a combat knife in a communal garden.
Paul Worgan of River View, Ross-on-Wye, admitted a charge of threatening a person with an offensive weapon or bladed article when he appeared before Hereford magistrates.
Prosecutor Camila Toscano said the incident took place near Worgan's home on January 31, and the victim feared serious physical harm.
The case was sent to Worcester Crown Court for sentencing on August 28.
A pre-sentence report was ordered to be prepared by the probation service and Worgan was released on unconditional bail.
