The sun shone down on Friday, September 20th whilst five members of the Bridstow Parish Hall committee, Patrick from the Parish Council, and Martin, a stalwart volunteer, rolled their sleeves up to spruce up the grounds around the hall.

Jobs on the list included removing ivy from the fence, painting the fence, cleaning the fascias and the windows, sweeping the car park and bagging up leaves and weeds. In the hot sun the work was undertaken with a good spirit and the break for lunch and a glass of Prosecco was enjoyed by all.

The Community Lunch last week was very well attended and the committee will cook and serve a Christmas themed lunch for around 50 attendees on Saturday, November 30th.
