Ross-on-Wye residents are in for a treat with the upcoming Spring and Summer programme of evening events at Ross Library.
The first event will be All about the Bees, Tuesday April 4, featuring speaker, author, and beekeeper Meriet Duncan.
Meriet Duncan is an expert in the wonderful world of bees and the impact they have on human lives. She has a deep knowledge of the subject, having spent years researching and working with bees. She will share her wealth of knowledge with attendees, providing fascinating insights into the lives of these incredible insects.
The talk promises to be informative, entertaining, and engaging, as Meriet shares her passion for bees and the crucial role they play in the ecosystem. Attendees will learn about the importance of bees for pollination, how bees communicate with each other, and the different types of bees that exist. She will provide tips for attracting bees to your garden and how to become a beekeeper.
As a published author, Meriet will also have copies of her books available for sale, making for a unique and thoughtful Easter gift. Her books provide a fascinating insight into the world of bees, with stunning photographs and fascinating stories.
Doors will open at 7pm, and the talk will begin at 7.30pm. Entry will be £6 for RLDG Members and £8 for non-members. Light refreshments will be provided, and there will be plenty of time for attendees to ask questions and chat with Meriet.
