The Ross Scout Group (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts) have had an energetic start to their very busy Autumn term.
This has included a successful litterpick by the Beavers, and a fun evening for the Cubs building dens in the woods on Chase Hill. With the aim of the programme to have the Sections outdoors for 50% of the sessions in a term, fingers are being crossed that the weather holds.
Ross Beaver Colony will, unfortunately, be losing their Leader at Christmas and it would be great to be able to start the New Year with someone new in their place.
The Group is also looking for Assistants across the other sections, especially Cubs.
If you would like to learn more about the opportunities the Group has, please contact the Group Scout Leader, Alison Almond, at [email protected] this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
