More than 220 Year 9 students at John Kyrle High School earned a place this term on our the reward trip.
The students were rewarded with a trip to Tenpin Bowling, Gloucester for their outstanding attitude to all aspects of school.
Miss Jones said: "The atmosphere was simply joyous! The thunder of bowling balls down the alleys, the crashing of pins and laughter were the theme of the afternoon followed by air hockey, pool, arcade games, photo booths, Hungry Hippos, an abundance of tickets from slot machines and cuddly toys from the Grabbers!
"This was a fitting end to a successful first term of Year 9 and we cannot wait to celebrate more excellence on our next two reward events. Our Easter reward event will be a disco at school and at the end of the Summer term, we are going to Croft Farm Water Park, Tewkesbury. More details to follow.
"From everyone on the Year 9 tutor team, we would like to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We would also like to thank you for all of your support, as it is very much appreciated and valued. See you in 2024!"
