AN historic Grade II listed building in Ross-on-Wye town centre is set to go under the auctioneer’s hammer next week.
The sandy-yellow coloured building in Brookend Street has previously been used as an antiques shop for some 40 years and Savills has the building listed on its September 24 auctions with a guide price of £130,000.
The building is arranged over three floors, the majority of which is traditionally built and includes timbered walls and ceilings.
It is arranged at ground floor as three retail showroom areas and a storeroom with access to a rear yard. It has a separate staircase to the upper floors.
The first floor includes retail space, an office, kitchen and staff shower room. The second floor includes a further retail area having a raked ceiling.
However, auctioneers Savills said the freehold mid-terrace property planning permission has already been granted to convert the upper floors into a residential dwelling comprising of three bedrooms.
The accommodation is approx. 3,358 sq ft gross internal area. It is due to be auctioned on September 24 with remote bidding only - online, over the phone or by submitting proxy bids in advance.
