Ross-on-Wye residents woke up to heavy snow today, Sunday, December 10th.

Whilst some people are out enjoying the snow, the conditions on the roads are dangerous and police are advising people to only travel if essential and to allow extra time for journeys.

A number of trees have also been reported to have fallen down due to the heavy weight of the snow. These include the Kent Avenue and Brampton Road areas.John Kyrle High School have sent a message to parents to say the school will be closed tomorrow, Monday, December 11th due to snow and the risk of icy conditions overnight making travelling unsafe.
