Ross-On-Wye Swimming club travelled to Pontypool on Saturday to compete in the latest round of galas in the Wyvern league against Ledbury, Tewkesbury, Pontypool and Torfaen.

Over the series of the galas there have been some outstanding performances by Ross in a highly competitive league, with many swimmers achieving personal bests at every gala

Victories were achieved by Finn Woods in the 50m freestyle, Jay Richmond and Trinity Coles in the 25m Breaststroke and the medley relay team of Conner Franklin, Ben Kershaw, Evelyn Barker and Maisie Tucker.

Special mentions should also go to Sinead and Dannielle Gabb, Lucy Mathews, Lizzie Jefferies and Mathew Peters who have regulary competed against swimmers much older than themselves.
