Dear Editor,
Recent reports in the Ross Gazette highlighted the achievements of Gorsey Goffs Primary School.
Having been a pupil there in the early 1940s I would like to congratulate the school on their success to date.
Although it is 75 years since I was a junior pupil at Gorsley Goffs, I was delighted to read of the high standards still being maintained.
In the 1950s Mr Stan Witts was a teacher there, who later become headmaster. It is pleasing to note that the all round high standards he set are still being maintained,
Ben Davies
