KATE Kearns and her intrepid team of festive runners have just completed another successful Hamper Scamper for the second year in a row.

The runners, complete with Santa hats and other items of fancy dress and headgear, impressed on the kind and generous residents of Weston-under-Penyard by collecting the produce and toiletries that residents had kindly donated food for the benefit of Ross Food Bank.

On Monday night, December 16, Kate and her running helpers sped from Weston Hall Farm to Hunson Manor Gardens, Springetts Lane, The Streete, Weston Park, Rectory Lane, Ariconium Place, Seabrook Place, Mill Orchard and Church Lane before assembling at the village hall to enable those who live further afield to drop off their donations.
