ANOTHER Christmas late night shopping mini-market is being held in Ross-on-Wye tonight (Thursday, December 2), following the launch of the month-long weekly event last week.
Independent town shops are staying open until 7pm on the next three Thursdays, while stallholders will be selling their wares outside the Market House.
The town council posted during last week’s market: "Our first late night shopping mini-market outside the Market House is looking really festive this evening.
"The gorgeous Paddle Cafe van has seating outside where you can grab a warming mulled wine and cider.
"Kts craft warehouse has some fabulous crafting ideas and Christmas gifts and the Wye Organic wreaths are really beautiful.
"The Woodland Trust is also here if you’d like to find out more about keeping our Herefordshire countryside sustainable or if you’d like to support them in any way.
"Our independent shops are also open until 7pm for the next three Thursday nights so please come along and show your support for our local businesses and traders in the run up to Christmas."
Mulled wine, food, drinks and gifts are on offer at the festive market, while the council has also offered busking spots to any musicians who would "like to get involved and serenade shoppers with a Ding Dong Merrily on High!"
A council spokesperson said: "If you, or someone you know, would like to take a half hour or hour slot to play an instrument or sing some Christmas music at the Market House, please get in touch and we’ll add you to the schedule."
