AS he begins his third term in office, the re-elected Police and Crime Commissioner for West Mercia, John Campion has outlined his plans for the future.
At a ceremony at West Mercia Police’s headquarters, the commissioner took the oath of office and pledged to act with integrity, transparency and diligence.
Mr Campion, in making his solemn promise, has committed to delivering on his election pledges, which includes ensuring that policing is back in the heart of local communities, and crime levels should continue to fall.
He is also aiming to ensure that support is in place to help victims cope and recover.
Mr Campion said: “I feel very privileged to be elected for a third time. From the first day I was elected in 2016, my drive to deliver for local communities, is unchanged.”
