Two people have appeared before Hereford Magistrates' Court this morning (Wednesday, 27 November) charged in connection with a stabbing at a pub.
Gypsy Outlaw Smith, 56, and Dawn Smith, 42, both of Nover Wood Drive, Fownhope, were arrested in the early hours of Sunday, 24 November, following reports a man had been stabbed inside the Brewer's Arms on Eign Road.
They were taken to Hereford police station where they were questioned by detectives investigating the incident and last night were charged with 10 offences between them.
Gypsy Outlaw Smith faces six charges: grievous bodily harm, actual bodily harm, threats to kill, two counts of possessing a knife/blade in a public place and possessing a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid or gas. He was remanded in custody.
Dawn Smith faces three charges in connection with the incident: assisting an offender in an indictable offence and two counts of possessing a knife/blade in a public place.
She has also been charged with driving a motor vehicle while her alcohol level was above the legal limit. She has been released on conditional bail.
The victim of the stabbing – a local man in his 30s – has since been discharged from hospital.
