TINA Knapman is the newly appointed family link worker for a fledgling project based at Ross-on-Wye’s Community Garden.
The Ross Family Hub will be launched on Saturday, June 22, with a family fun day between 11am and 3pm.
Ms Knapman and her team will be providing peer support on home visits, where one member of the will visit those in need at home to help and offer any support that might be needed.
The hub will provide activities and learning opportunities at the garden, their remit is to reduce anti-social behaviour and to avoid escalation of further intervention.
The team from the family hub will be offering support, advice and signposting to families in Ross. The hub has been funded by the Safer Communities Fund in partnership with Herefordshire Council and West Mercia Police.
