ROSS-ON-WYE Lions will again, be running its annual fireworks extravaganza this year, to raise funds for local good causes.
The event is being staged on Saturday, November 2 at Ross Rowing Club field promises to be a fun-filled, exciting evening for all ages.
The gates open at 6pm when visitors will be able to enjoy a food court with various hot food stalls serving burgers, hotdogs, fish and chips and pizzas. There will also be a range of hot drinks, a bar and even an ice cream stall and a candy-floss seller.
A bouncy castle will keep younger children entertained and with the sale of individual light sticks will enable children to be seen in the darkness with their own light display.
As a prelude to the main event the evening will start with a skilled fire juggler who will give a performance that will thrill and amaze with its daring and dexterity.
The fireworks will begin at 7.30pm, setting the area ablaze with spectacular effects and amazing, vivid colours lighting up the sky.
The organisers state that there is no parking on site and that visitors should park in one of the town’s many carparks. The entrance to the fireworks site is accessed off Trenchard Street. The admission prices are adults £8, children £4 and a family ticket is £20. Card payments will be accepted.
