MADAM, As one of the older members of society I do not look forward to Christmas as much as when I was younger. But walking into Ross last Sunday, up Broad Street, on a grey overcast day and being greeted by the Christmas lights and the Christmas market certainly raised my spirits. The background music provided by the brass band, Steve Turner on his street organ and the Choir certainly added to the occasion. We eventually went home with a number of gifts thanks to all those local shops and craft businesses who had stalls. Well done Ross Traders and the organisers of this excellent market.
