THE International Arts Festival of Ukrainian Culture takes place in Hereford next week.
The arts festival focusing on Ukraïne is set to captivate audiences on Saturday, January 18 at the iconic St Peter’s Church in Hereford.
This festival marks the culmination of the St Peter and St James churches Ukraine Project, a vital initiative supporting displaced Ukrainians and their sponsors.
The festival promises to be a vibrant celebration of Ukrainian national culture, talent, and artistry.
This will be a unique opportunity to experience Ukrainian art. For over 20 years, the festival organisers have hosted multi-genre talent events across Ukraine and internationally.
This year, for the first time, the festival takes place in Great Britain, shining a spotlight on the creative potential of Ukrainians abroad.
With categories spanning music, vocal performance, dance, poetry, painting, and circus arts, the event will showcase the rich and diverse heritage of Ukrainian culture.
Among the key highlights are live performances from soloists, duets, various ensembles instrumentalists, dancers, poets, captivating acts in Ukrainian.
Admission is free and the event is open to the general public from midday until 4pm, with voluntary charitable contributions welcomed.
