Police are appealing for any witnesses to a fatal collision on the B4234 near Cannop this morning (Tuesday, October 31st).

The incident involved two cars and happened near Pedalabikeaway at around 10.10am.

The driver of the car that was heading away from Lydbrook, and a 68-year-old man from Drybrook, died at the scene.

A man and a woman in the other car were taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with non-serious injuries. Enquiries are continuing.

Anyone who witnessed the incident but hasn’t spoken to police should call 101 and quote incident 102 of October 31st.
