ROSS-on-Wye is set to come alive this weekend as the Equinox Festival gets underway.

The Equinox Festival is being held on Friday and Saturday, September 20 and 21, and is a two-day celebration of music and performance from around the globe.

The festival promises to showcase local talent with musical performances that span cultures and genres. From dance troupes to Japanese Taiko drumming.

Equinox is the perfect family day out, there is so much to see and do besides the music.

There will be a range of food vendors lined up for the weekend, with cuisine inspired by all four corners of the globe.

In addition to the musical festivities, Equinox Festival is introducing an exciting new feature for this year- a dedicated Kids Zone which includes face painting, a mobile climbing wall, arts and craft workshops and circus skills.

The festival has built a reputation for its eclectic line-up in the past, and this year is no exception.

This area will be brimming with activities tailored for families, ensuring that younger festivalgoers have just as much fun as their parents. 

The traditional morning yoga session on the Saturday will return, providing a serene way to kick off the day. 

General admission is free but advanced booking is required. The event is designed to be a fun and safe environment for people of all ages.
