Twenty nine Key Stage two children from St. Joseph's RC Primary School in Ross wowed audiences at The Phoenix Theatre this week with their production of 'Matilda the Musical Jr.' 

The fast-paced, funny show was filled with strong singing, slick choreography and entertaining dialogue and the children brought tremendous energy and excellent characterisation to their roles. 

The show, created by Dennis Kelly and Tim Minchin, was a piece that the whole cast felt very passionately about and this was evident in the extremely high standard of their performances. The production was an absolute triumph and St. Joseph's staff are extremely proud!
