Musicians from JKHS will be taking part in a series of concerts over the festive period as part of Herefordshire Youth Music.

The first concert took place on Saturday, November 26 at the Kindle Centre in Hereford. The concert featured concert bands and orchestras, as well as the youth choir, brass bands and ukulele ensemble.

The youth orchestra and senior concert band performed at Holy Trinity Church in Hereford (December 3). The concert band will be playing Christmas carols Saturday, December 10 in the Old Market in Hereford.

The senior concert band will also be taking part in the Army Benevolent Fund’s annual Christmas concert at Hereford Cathedral on Wednesday, December 14, performing alongside the military wives’ choir, Hereford Police Choir, fanfare trumpets, and a massed primary schools’ choir.
