Pupils and families from Whitchurch CE Primary School and Nursery will be participating in a festive Christmas lantern walk on Tuesday, December 13.
Last week, the Whitchurch primary school pupils rolled up their sleeves and masterfully crafted a procession of magical Christmas lanterns in school during their morning lantern workshop.
During the walk, the schoolchildren will be heading to St Dubricius Church and Whitchurch House Nursing Home where they will grace community members with delightful carols.
During the day—which promises to be a Christmas delightful for children and parents—the school PTFA will be selling mulled wine and mince pies on the playground for the families. The school’s values of trust, kindness, and friendship will no-doubt be on full display as they take pride of place in the parade; they are inherent in everything the school and its community does.
