The Gloucestershire College Forest of Dean Campus January Open Evening is on Wednesday, January 27th from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
The January Open Evening provides the perfect opportunity for young people to explore their options after GCSEs, whether that be A Levels, a work-related traineeship or apprenticeship, or professional or technical training in more practical areas.
Students and their parents will be able to see the excellent facilities available at the Five Acres campus, including The Forest Theatre, the top-rated Beechwood Restaurant, the editing suites, recording studios and sports facilities. They can also check out the College’s brand new facilities; from the construction centre to the art studios.
There will be an Apprenticeship Zone and a Higher Education Zone, plus a whole host of have-a-go activities and demonstrations. There will be staff and students from all course areas available to show visitors around and answer questions about courses and college life, as well as the Student Services and Advice Teams, who can help explain everything from course options and qualification types to support and finance.
Visitors can also speak to the NCS and Sports teams to explore the clubs and activities that can satisfy their sport and social needs. They can explore programmes and projects available to help them get the best experience to support their career aspirations and make their CV’s stand out.
