To show off their growing French language skills, on Monday, July 1st, members of Year 4 at Ashfield Park Primary School opened the doors to their école Française et petit café Français (French school and café). 

Parents, grandparents and friends headed first to the ‘school’ for a lesson in how to speak a little in French.  Then, brimming with confidence, they were able to place their orders for such delights as croissants, brioche and pain au chocolat with the waiters and waitresses.

The event was a resounding success with all of the guests fully fed and proud of their successes in speaking French, and proud of the children for their confidence in speaking and teaching French.
