Tommy Randall, a pupil at John Kyrle High School was the winner of the first ever Ross Gazette Prize for English Progress.

The annual John Kyrle High School and Sixth Form Centre prizegiving took place at the school on Thursday, September 22nd. Guests included Kay Garlick DL, as the representative for Lady Darnley the Lord Lieutenant of Herefordshire, the Mayor and Mayoress of Ross, Councillor David Ravenscroft and Mrs Doreen Ravenscroft, and of course many of the school’s governors.

The certificates were presented by Dr Berti Fisher, a former pupil who went on to study Biological Sciences at Oxford.
