Year 5 pupils from Ashfield Park Primary School walked to E.C.Drummond’s strawberry farm at Hom Green, to enjoy an educational tour lead by Ben Drummond.

As a result of the visit, the children extended their understanding of plant life cycles and had an insight into the production and packaging of strawberries by a large, local soft fruit farm.
