As we pack away the Christmas decorations for another year you may be looking forward to a little peace and quiet in January. And if that’s your plan, we have you covered with tranquil and wallet-friendly ways to enjoy our local area.
You could try out our Slow Travel Itinerary and spend a few hours admiring the countryside between here and Hereford on a wonderful circular bus trip.
Or, explore one of Newent’s newest green spaces with a free guided well-being walk around Ell Brook Community Garden.
But if you’re not quite done with the festivities yet, never fear, there is plenty to keep that festive feeling alive well into January. We have panto in Ledbury, Wassail in Much Marcle, some fun quiz nights, and some great live music to look forward to. And when it comes to New Year’s resolutions, we have some ideas for you on our website also.
It can feel like January is the coldest, darkest part of the winter, but it’s really not. The darkest days are behind us. We have passed the winter equinox now so we get a little more daylight every day.
Let’s wrap up warm, get out there, and make the most of it- on the bus of course!
With all our best wishes for a happy and healthy 2024.
The Daffodil Line Team
PS. If you can’t take the bus this weekend, we’d be very grateful for a little bus-fare-sized donation to help keep our wheels turning.
