Members of Ross Cycling Club played host to a group of about 50 cyclists who visit the area every three years for the Daffodil Weekend. This happens in rotation with the Chippenham Wheelers' White Horse Weekend and the Cheltenham CTC Cotswold Weekend. Visitors participating come from many different places including Bedfordshire, Wiltshire, Caernarfon, Nottingham, Northampton, Powys, Cheltenham, Chippenham and Worcestershire. They met at the Larruperz Centre before heading off on various rides around the well-known daffodil route. Some cycled 30 miles, the short option, while others cycled 50 or 70 miles. They stopped at Dymock Village Hall for lunch and then had tea at Linton Village Hall. A social evening was arranged back at the Larruperz Centre for the evening. Members of the Ross Cycling Club were leading the rides as well as helping with the catering arrangements.
