A NEW town centre cleansing operative has joined the Ross-on-Wye team.
Neal Cawthorne, known as Corky, has already been out and about in the town already helping to providing additional resources to all areas that Ross Town Council has responsibility for.
This includes the town centre and the surrounding areas where he will ensure that the overall cleanliness is maintained to a high standard.
Mr Cawthorne will be a visible presence in the town between Tuesdays and Saturdays. He will also concentrate on the deeper cleansing of shopping areas and the town’s gateways.
Operations manager, Duncan Rowe, said: “Corky is a welcome addition to the hard-working amenities team. His work will lift the town centre and be a proactive approach to improving the “Heart of Ross” and drive standards and quality.”
