EACH year it is customary for the mayor of Ross-on-Wye to send out Christmas cards to neighbouring towns, local groups, friends and family.
The mayor of Ross, Councillor Bev Pope, would once again like to give the young people of the town the opportunity to design this year’s civic Christmas card.
The competition is open to anyone under the age of 16, with prizes for first, second and third place.
The overall winner will have their design, which must include an element of Ross used as the mayor’s Christmas card for this festive season.
The closing date for entries is noon on November 11. The winner will be selected by mayor, Cllr Pope the following day.
The Christmas cards will be available for sale during the run up to Christmas with all profits going to the mayor’s charity, Home-Start UK.
Entrants must be residents of Ross, or the surrounding area, aged 16 or under.
The card must include an element of the town within its design. Each entry needs to provide information including name, age, address and phone number.
Please post or deliver your entries to The Town Hall, Cantilupe Road, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 7AN or take a high-resolution photo and email it to [email protected].
By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to the use of your entry in any publicity associated with the competition.
